Dr Linda Yang was invited to deliver her signature session, “Cultures in Action: Play, Learn, Connect,” at Edith Cowan University’s Global Team Summit in Perth—bringing intercultural learning to life through play, sharing, and connection.
The session created a vibrant space for ECU staff to explore cultural diversity in action. With interactive activities, joyful participation, and meaningful dialogue, team members reflected on their own cultural perspectives while strengthening mutual understanding.
“It was such a pleasure to witness the team’s energy and openness—there was laughter, storytelling, and a genuine sense of connection throughout,” said Dr Yang.
The session exemplified how play-based learning can deepen intercultural awareness and build stronger, more inclusive teams in higher education.
